‘Salvation’ Renewed for Season 2 at CBS
CBS continues to find “Salvation.”
The serialized thriller series that premiered in July has been picked up for a 13-episode second season. The new run will air in summer 2018.
The cast includes Santiago Cabrera, Jennifer Finnigan, Charlie Rowe, Jacqueline Byers, Rachel Drance and Ian Anthony Dale.

Season 1 focused on a team tasked with stopping an asteroid from colliding with Earth.
The project from CBS Television Studios is executive produced by Liz Kruger, Craig Shapiro, Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Stuart Gillard and Peter Lenkov. “Salvation” was created by Kruger, Shapiro and Matt Wheeler.
