Sandra Oh attended the premiere of “Double Happiness” held during the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival today in Toronto.
Getting into the spirit of fall, Oh sported a pair of slouchy burgundy leather boots. The calf-length style featured glossy leather uppers with a reptilian texture that transitioned into elongated almond-shaped toes and what looked to be short heels. The slouchy vampy uppers imparted a casual cozy vibe while the burgundy hue proved to be on-trend with popular colors to wear during the upcoming chilly season.
For those hankering for the perfect fall footwear, a plethora of affordable and high-end brands like Circus NY, Asos, Nine West, Valentino, Schutz, Steve Madden and Dolce Vita feature burgundy boot silhouettes comparable to Oh’s own.
The “Killing Eve” star opted for a more neutral color palette on the outfit front, going in the preppy direction. Oh donned a chestnut wool blazer overtop a breezy cream-colored top. On the bottom, the thespian sported baggy long shorts in a high-waisted style in a reddish brown burnt umber shade.
When it comes to fashion, Oh’s looks are often glamorous and intricate. The “Grey’s Anatomy” star can be spotted in embellished and textured gowns by Prabal Gurung, Elie Saab and Oscar de la Renta on the red carpet. Her shoes follow a similar formula, including neutral or jewel-toned pumps and textures loafers from top brands like Christian Louboutin and Kat Maconie.
Oh is also one for taking a red carpet risk, hitting events in stylish sneakers from brands like by Alexandre Birman. Off-duty, Oh keeps it casual in New Balance and Adidas sneakers and Crocs clogs.
“Double Happiness” is a 1994 film directed by Mina Shum starring Sandra Oh, Stephen Chang and Claudette Carracedo. The movie follows a Chinese woman who struggles to appease her old-fashioned father, and at the same time pursue her modern dreams.
