‘Saturday Night Live’ reveals Timothee Chalamet as ‘SNL’ guest host on November 11
Producers of ‘Saturday Night Live’ announced during this weekend’s episode that Timothee Chalamet will be guest host of the November 11 installment with boygenius revealed as musical guest. It will be the fourth ‘SNL’ episode of the 49th season on NBC. This marks the second time as guest host for Chalamet.
The regular cast members for “SNL” Season 49 are, in credits order: Michael Che, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes, Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, James Austin Johnson, Punkie Johnson, Colin Jost, Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman, Kenan Thompson and Bowen Yang. The featured players are: Marcello Hernandez, Molly Kearney, Michael Longfellow, Chloe Troast and Devon Walker.

The Writers Guild of America strike lasted from May 2 to September 27, while the SAG-AFTRA strike is still ongoing and began July 14. Since “SNL” does not fall under the purview of the Screen Actors Guild, that is why the show’s actors are allowed to work while picketing is still going on in other parts of the industry.
“Saturday Night Live’s” Weekend Update is once again anchored by Jost and Che, as they’ve done every week together since September 2014. As of the 47th season two years ago, they are officially the longest-serving duo in the history of Weekend Update.
At the most recent Emmy Awards, the variety series won its 93rd trophy overall, making it the biggest winner in the history of the Television Academy. For comparison’s sake, the next closest show in second place is “Game of Thrones” with 59 Emmys.
