Scarlett Johansson and Jay Roach Board Universal’s ‘The Psychopath Test’

Universal has Kristin Gore to pen the script of “The Psychopath Test,” with Scarlett Johansson attached to star and Jay Roach to direct.
Sources stress this pic is being developed as a starring vehicle for Johansson and that no deal is done, but that the actress is very interested in doing it.
Brian Grazer is producing with Roach and his Everyman Pictures banner. Finola Dwyer and Amanda Posey also produce.
Erica Huggins and Jennifer Perini will be exec producers. Erik Baiers will oversee for the studio.
Based on the Jon Ronson book, the story follows a medical community that tries to diagnose and classify individuals who may or may not be psychopaths.
Gore, the daughter of former vice president Al Gore, already has a connection to the Roach camp as the two are currently developing the comedy pilot “Women in Space” for HBO. She is repped by CAA.
The CAA and LBI Entertainment-repped Johansson is currently filming the Coen Brothers’ “Hail Caesar!” Roach is repped by WME and Mosaic and is currently working on the biopic “Trumbo” with Bryan Cranston.
The news was first reported by Deadline Hollywood.
