See Black Opulence On The 76th Emmys Red Carpet
The best-dressed stars arrived to the 76th Emmy Awards for the second time this year, held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (Sept. 15). Delayed last year due to writer’s strikes, stars were able to show off their best outfits again on the carpet.
Dressed to the nines in bold colors and top-tier fashion garments, the carpet flooded with some of television’s biggest Black stars starring or supporting in the biggest shows out. From Idris Elba, Quinta Brunson, Viola Davis, Ayo Edebiri, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Sam Richardson, and more — the carpet never looked better.
Hosted by father-son duo Eugene Levy and Dan Levy of Schitt’s Creek, this year’s award ceremony saw the Edebiri-led show The Bear win a record of 23 total nominations and 11 trophies. Liza Colón-Zayas scored Best Supporting Actress for The Bear, as Lamorne Morris also took home Best Supporting Actor for Fargo.
Take a look at how Black opulence took over the red carpet below.
