Selena Gomez's Good For You features A$AP Rocky
Selena Gomez dropped her latest single, “Good For You,” late Sunday night, after teasing the track on social media all weekend. Featuring A$AP Rocky, it’s a sexy, slow jam with lyrics like, “I wanna look good for you.”
Her vocal coach Stevie Mackey hinted that Gomez’s new album may be about a certain ex in an interview with Hollywood Life. “She doesn’t mention him directly,” he said of Justin Bieber, Gomez’s former boyfriend. “But one could deduce that she is [singing about him]. Most artists sing about their present or past relationships in their music. Selena’s no different.” Her most recent work also includes a collaboration with Zedd, “I Want You to Know,” and last year’s emotional hit, “The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants.”
