Selling Sunset 's Emma Hernan Slams "Evil" Nicole Young on Affair Claim

Originally appeared on E! Online

Emma Hernan did not hold back while sharing her thoughts on those cheating rumors and the person who spread them, her Selling Sunset costar Nicole Young.

On season eight of the reality show, which premiered on Netflix Sept. 6, Nicole says in a confessional, "I did hear from a reliable source that Emma has likely had relations with a married man." She had first mentioned the rumor on social media last month.

"Oh, this evil human," Emma exclusively told E! News in an interview that aired Sept. 12. "I was completely blindsided by all of this. I had no idea that this was going on the entire season. I did not find this out till right before, when we got the screeners. It's disgusting."

Accusing Nicole of being "a pathological liar and just an all-around disgusting human being," Emma said the rumors were untrue.

"There's zero truth to this," Emma said. "I wasn't given a voice to even defend this and show the receipts, show all the proof."

added that she has "no desire to speak to that evil human" and is demanding Nicole apologize.

"You're an awful human being, and you owe me a sincere apology," continued. "Let me just tell you that this isn't over. This is so damaging. What she had has done to me. It's disgusting. It is slander. It is defamation."

E! News has reached out to Nicole and Netflix for comment on the accusations but hasn’t heard back.

Meanwhile, Emma said that castmates support her, noting that Chelsea Lazkani, Jason Oppenheim and Brett Oppenheim reached out to her.

Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause had alleged on her Instagram Stories Aug. 31 that Nicole had told a "disgusting lie about a bestie," prompting Chelsea to later state on her own social media that Emma was the person in question.

"As a married woman, I strongly and confidently stand for the sanctity of all marriages," Nicole then wrote on her Instagram Story. "Instead of attacking me and accusing me of lying, I think you ladies need to ask your bestie some tough questions."

She added, "Did she let you know she was directly confronted on camera at the season 7 finale by the wife's best friend? Even still, I stated this info as a rumor."

Yet, Chrishell later reiterated her support for Emma, telling E! News cohost Keltie Knight in a Sept. 5 interview, "Nicole was able to make a rumor about my best friend that I know is not true. She's going to be able to prove that it isn't true, but she wasn't given the chance on the show to prove as much."

Chrishell, who has been feuding with Nicole since season six of Selling Sunset, which aired in 2023, has ruled out a reconciliation with her.

"Absolutely not," she said. "I think she's proven the snake that she is."

Nicole declined to comment on Chrishell's remarks when reached by E! News.
