Separating facts from fake news in the Khloé Kardashian, Tristan Thompson drama

The Kardashians are used to making headlines. It has barely been 24 hours since Khloé Kardashian gave birth to her first child, but the news cycle is less about baby name speculation and more about what she’s going to do next as the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal continues to unfold.

Will Khloé take her baby girl and move back to Los Angeles? Has she already forgiven her boyfriend and baby daddy for cheating on her while she was pregnant? Reports are all over the place, but here’s what we know.

Khloé’s focusing on her daughter

A source tells Yahoo Entertainment that the new mom’s priority right now is her baby. “She’s so happy and in love with this little girl it’s crazy,” says an insider close to the family. “Obviously, this isn’t an ideal situation, but [Khloé] does not want any negative energy around [her child].”

Kardashian, 33, was the bigger person and didn’t ban Thompson from the hospital as she gave birth early Thursday morning, less than two days after cheating allegations emerged. Says the source: “This little girl is not going to grow up without a father, and Khloé doesn’t want [Tristan] to miss out on bonding with his child. She shouldn’t be punished for what he did.”

Thompson has been linked to yet another woman

This week, the Cleveland Cavaliers player, 27, was caught on two separate occasions acting inappropriately with various women. On Wednesday, a source told Yahoo “everyone is worried about what else is going to come out,” and it seems as if the drama isn’t over yet.

The Daily Mail, which broke the news about Thompson allegedly cheating on Kardashian last weekend with Instagram model Lani Blair, revealed the identity of another woman who has been seen with the NBA star over the past several months.

A high-end sales associate named Tania has been pictured leaving Thompson’s hotel on multiple occasions, both in Boston and in New York City, when the Cavaliers were playing on the road. She was first pictured with him in November and as recently as last month. Tania is denying anything happened.

The KarJenners want Khloé back in Los Angeles

Khloé moved to Cleveland to give birth, which is where she intended to raise her baby with Thompson. The same source tells Yahoo that her famous family, particularly Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian, “wants her home” in California.

People has conflicting reports, one alleging that Kardashian is “already preparing to move back to L.A.” and another claiming she has “basically already forgiven” Thompson.

“She is in a bubble of love and peace and happiness right now, and everything that happened with Tristan is less about ‘cheating’ and more like, it was just a random drunken hookup that meant nothing and was kissing at most and didn’t lead to anything else and was the fault of stupid groupies trying to trap him, and everybody just needs to move on,” says an “insider” quoted by People.

Yahoo’s source says it’s “unclear” what Khloé plans to do at this time. “She seems like she’s taking everything day by day with [Tristan] right now,” says the insider.

Tristan has ‘apologized profusely’

A different insider close to Thompson tells Yahoo that the NBA star has “apologized profusely” to Kardashian and is “incredibly remorseful” about the situation. Thompson’s “I’m sorry” tour extended to the KarJenners as well, as we’re told he also apologized to her family and BFF Malika Haqq for his actions. Kris, Kim, Kourtney, and Malika were all at the hospital Thursday.

Kim was hands-on during the birth

While we know Thompson was at the hospital, it was Kim who apparently played a role in Khloé’s delivery, holding her sister’s legs during birth.

‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ has been filming

People reports that cameras have been rolling in Cleveland over the last few days. The most recent season of KUWTK ended in March, and a premiere date hasn’t been set for Season 15. However, the magazine says E! was filming at the hospital.
