‘Sesame Street’ Does an Awesome Send-Up of ’80s Songs
Sesame Street continued its streak of amazing musical parodies by doing a musical mashup parody of some classic ’80s tunes. The Street crew tackled everything from Culture Club to Wham!, and even got in a “Footloose” parody called “Loose Goose,” featuring Grover in a Kevin Bacon wig. Everyone got in on the action, including The Count, Elmo, and Cookie Monster.
In the past, Sesame Street has done such song parodies as “Share It Maybe,” Cookie Monster’s take on Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe,” and “Born to Add,” a parody of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run.”
