It feels like an eternity since Severance broke our brains with its Season 1 finale, but now we finally know when we'll be reunited with Mark (Adam Scott), Helly (Britt Lower), and the rest of Lumon's severed workers.

The good news? Apple TV+ has confirmed that Severance Season 2 will premiere Jan. 17, 2025. They've even given us a cryptic first look, including footage of new cast member Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones, The Sandman) telling Lumon's employees they "should have left." They certainly tried!

The bad news? January is six months away! How can I wait that long to get the answers I so desperately need? Will we find out what Lumon really does? Will Irving (John Turturro) and Burt (Christopher Walken) find a way to save their star-crossed romance? Will Mark reunite with his presumed-dead wife Gemma/Ms. Casey (Dichen Lachman)? How did Gemma wind up in Lumon in the first place? And what is the deal with the waffle parties?

I guess it's time for yet another Severance rewatch while we wait.

Severance Season 1 is now streaming on AppleTV+, with Season 2 premiering Jan. 17.
