Sexy, shirtless Jeff Goldblum appears in London park — as a 25-foot statue
A 25-foot statue of a shirtless Jeff Goldblum was erected in a park near the River Thames in London to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Jurassic Park movie.
The image of an unbuttoned Goldblum has become an iconic one for Jurassic Park fans. And now his chest is on full display next to Tower Bridge.
During an interview with Yahoo, Goldblum explained just how the revealing shot came to be. He said, “It’s supposed to be Costa Rica, right? … So things are hot, and I’m sure I’m in some sort of fever. All the logic is that we’ve got to get some of these wet clothes off immediately. As I remember, I don’t think anybody fought me on that.”
And now the larger-than-life actor is larger than life in London.
Recently, Jurassic Park has taken over London. In May, to promote Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, a T. rex statue traveled up the Thames and posed for pictures with the stars of the film.
Let’s hope the real Jeff Goldblum gets to visit a statue of himself in a park that, luckily, contains no dinosaurs.
