In a July 12 video broadcast exclusively on TODAY, the Grammy winner announced she will host the 2024 "People’s Choice Country Awards," which will take place at the legendary Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee.
“Hi, TODAY show. I am so excited to be hosting this year’s 'People’s Choice Country Awards,' and I cannot wait to see you in Nashville,” she said in the brief clip.
The “You’re Still the One” hitmaker is ready to hold court over the festivities.
“Country has some of the most passionate fans in music and us artists are so lucky to be supported in doing what we love,” she said in a statement. “I am honored to host an award show that celebrates these awesome fans. Get ready for an unforgettable show with lots of big hair, glamour, rhinestones, hats, boots and incredible performances. Giddy Up!”
