Shania Twain's throwback CMT Music Awards performance has Twitter divided
On the CMT Music Awards Wednesday night, Shania Twain celebrated the 25th anniversary of her debut album, The Woman in Me, by performing her 1995 hit song "Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under?"
Leading up to the event, Twain had all of her fans excited after she announced on Twitter that she would be performing.

Diehard Twain fans received a hit of nostalgia as the singer performed in an impressive single continuous shot from the Chaplin's World museum in Switzerland, and was clearly a nod to the song's original music video, which took place in a saloon-type setting.
However, those who weren't so familiar seemed a little confused by Twain's performance.
This is the wildest thing. Shania is performing in a Charlie Chaplin museum in Switzerland and dancing around wax figures. #CMTawards

That was the strangest Shania Twain performance I've ever seen. Is she. Ok? #CMTawards

The performance seemed fit for 2020. Even in Switzerland, it wouldn't have been safe social-distance practice had Twain gotten up close and personal, singing into the faces of real people. And most of the Twain fans came through, amazed that the country legend "still has it."
Damn shania still has it going for her 😍😍😍😍 #CMTawards
