Shaun White & Nina Dobrev Mourn the Loss of His Beloved French Bulldog 'Steve'
Olympian Shaun White shared a heartbreaking tributes on social media after Shaun's beloved French Bulldog named 'Steve' passed away. Shaun shared the pup with his partner actress Nina Dobrev.
The snowboarder said that Steve passed away peacefully.

White posted on Instagram, "With a heavy heart I wanted to let everyone know that Steve’s health took a turn for the worse recently and he passed away peacefully at the age of almost 13. I’m absolutely devastated by this loss. I raised him from a pup and he was the perfect amount of fun, loving, and crazy that you would want in a dog. He gave big French Bulldog energy till the end. I feel blessed to have had him as my dog and best bud. Love you forever buddy."

The most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps, expressed his condolences to white and commented, "Sorry for your loss." The US Snowboard Team replied, "Sending you so much love."
White long time girlfriend, Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev, who is currently recovering from a dirt bike accident, posted a series of broken heart emoji's under White's Instagram post.
Dobrev and White are also pet parents to Dobrev's dog Maverick, a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix.

You can light a candle in your dog's honor on their birthday, holidays, or whenever it brings you comfort.
You can adopt or foster a dog in honor or your pet, or make a donation in their name to your local animal shelter or Humane Society.
