Shemar Moore mourns his mother Marylin: 'I don’t know life without this woman'

Shemar Moore is mourning the loss of his mother.

The "S.W.A.T." star, 49, announced in an emotional Instagram post that his mother, Marylin Joan Wilson-Moore, died earlier this month on Feb. 8. She was 76.

"My mother, best friend, and partner in crime passed away," Moore said Wednesday. "I miss her more than I ever thought possible and I don’t know how to do this life without her… but I get my STRENGTH from her and I will be OK because of HER."

The grief-stricken actor shared photos and memories with his mother in a series of sentimental videos, admitting that he's "hurting real bad" processing the news.

"I stay stunned. I am heartbroken," Moore said through tears. "I don’t know life without this woman. I don’t know what to do but I will figure it out because that’s what she would want…Everything I’ve accomplished is because of this amazing woman. My mother is gone, she ain’t here no more. But she’s here."

Although Moore didn't disclose his mother's cause of death, the actor said Marylin suffered from "heart issues." She also had multiple sclerosis, he added.

"I’ve been offline for some weeks now. I’ve had to keep a secret out of respect to my mom," Moore said. "I’ve been quiet because I’ve been crying a lot. I’ve been yelling and screaming."
