All of the Sneaker Launches at ComplexCon 2024 in Las Vegas
ComplexCon 2024 is upon us. Complex’s annual convention, which offers loads of limited edition product launches and music performances, is happening this weekend, landing in Las Vegas for the first time. Travis Scott will headline the weekend with a show on Sunday night and a CactusCon activation space. And there will be sneakers—lots of sneakers.
If you’ve made the trek to ComplexCon before, you know that much of the thrill involves hunting down the sneakers that big brands bring out for the show. This year is no different: Nike is going all out, Saucony is in the mix, and ASICS is delivering a tasty pair of mesh runners. It’s a lot to process. What are all the sneaker happenings one needs to be aware of at ComplexCon in Las Vegas this year?
We’ve got a breakdown here, but it comes with a couple caveats. One is that there will be some surprises—part of the fun of ComplexCon is enjoying all the things that are kept under wraps until they hit the show floor. The other is that some of the launches listed here are not full-on retail drops; there are teasers and giveaways among them, so make sure to check out what’s going on at individual booths before investing your time in waiting in line. Here’s what’s happening in sneakers at ComplexCon 2024.
Nike Air Max 1000
Nike is debuting a 3D-printed variation of the Air Max 1 called the Air Max 1000 this weekend at ComplexCon. The shoe, produced in collaboration with German footwear manufacturer Zellerfed, will be on display at the Air Max 1000 Experience booth. According to Nike, attendees will have the opportunity to win pairs at ComplexCon.
Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx
We can’t stress enough how massive Travis Scott’s imprint and overall plans for ComplexCon are. Nike and Travis Scott will host a space at the show called the Cactus Colosseum, which will have a display of Cactus Jack x Nike artifacts, a soccer jersey customization studio, and a launch of Travis Scott’s new Nike Zoom Field Jaxx shoe.
Lil Yachty x Nike Us Force 1
Lil Yachty’s upcoming Concrete Boys version of the Air Force 1 will be present at ComplexCon during the weekend. Nike’s press release indicates that there won’t be a full on release for the shoe, but there will be opportunities for fans to win a pair of the Lil Yachty x Nike Us Force 1s and other prizes.
Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder
The exclusive purple colorway of the new Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder project will be available first at ComplexCon this weekend at booth A37. It’s a full-circle moment for the brand Kids of Immigrants, which first connected with the Nike team at ComplexCon in Long Beach back in 2021. The Kids of Immigrants x Nike Air Max Sunder will retail for $190.
Stash x Nike Air Max 95, Air Force 1
Yes, Stash is reprising his blue blasted takes on the Air Max 95 and Air Force 1 that helped set the trend for sneaker collaborations in the 2000s. No, they won’t be for sale at ComplexCon. But the two shoes, which are set to debut later in 2024, be on display at Stash’s booth at the show.
Hidden x ASICS Gel Venture 6 Shield
Who said Mesh Boyz Summer was over? ASICS, which had one of the biggest drops at last year’s ComplexCon with its Gallery Dept. collaboration, is back this year with a version of the Gel Venture 6 Shield cooked up in partnership with Hidden. The Hidden x ASICS Gel Venture 6 Shield will retail for $160.
Jae Tips x Saucony Matrix
Jae Tips is the people’s champ right now in sneakers—just ask all of his supporters who showed up at last year’s Sneaker of the Year panel at ComplexCon. This year, he’s making more bids for a spot on that list with shoes like his Saucony Matrix, which debuts at ComplexCon. The two colorways of the Jae Tips x Saucony Matrix will be available for $170 at booth E13.
Hommewrk x Saucony Spot Bilt High
Even in a post Full Size Run world, Trinidad James is family at ComplexCon. His Hommewrk brand will be in the building this weekend at booth C17, where Trinidad will launch his orange “Lucy” colorway of the Saucony Spot Bilt High for $165.
Saleh Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog 'Glow'
Salehe Bembury’s footwear empire knows no bounds. It certainly doesn’t stop in Vegas. This weekend, the prolific designer is launching glow-in-the-dark versions of his super popular Crocs Pollex Clog, which will be available for $85 at booth C8.
Clot x Adidas
Clot isn’t selling anything at its ComplexCon this year, but will be previewing its upcoming November collection with Adidas at booth A43. It will also be giving away prizes, like the beaded Clot x Adidas Gazelles, through a game hosted onsite.
Takashi Murakami Ohana Hatake
Takashi Murakami has long been a staple at ComplexCon. This year, his merch at the show will take the form of his Ohana slides, which will be available at booth B50.
Feature x Puma GV Special 'Lonely Road'
It wouldn’t be right for ComplexCon to hit Las Vegas without involving the locals. Feature, a stalwart boutique in the city, will be at the convention with two sets of Puma collaborations.
Satoshi Nakamoto x Vans Old Skool 'Port Royale'
There will be just 100 pairs of this elusive, studded Vans collaboration on sale at ComplexCon this weekend at booth E36. Pairs will be priced at $200.
