‘SNL’: Singer Halsey To Host In February
Halsey will host and serve as musical guest on the Feb. 9 edition of Saturday Night Live. The announcement was made during tonight’s episode of NBC’s late-night sketch comedy program, which was hosted by James McAvoy with musical guest Meek Mill.
Halsey made her SNL debut as a musical guest last season (you can watch a video below) and also was featured in a musical performance earlier this season.

Like other young music stars of this decade, most notably Justin Bieber, Halsey found popularity by self-releasing music on social media platforms before she was noticed and signed. Her first studio album Badlands (2015) peaked at number two on the US Billboard 200 and reached over one billion streams on Spotify.
Like Halsey, who has a handful of small acting credits, Bieber served as host and musical guest on SNL in 2013 without substantial acting experience.
