Snoop Dog Coins 'The Voice' Season 26 Coaches the "Fearless Foursome"

Of all the celebrities that attended the Olympics, none was more beloved (or comical) than super fan Snoop Dogg, and lucky for fans, he's not disappearing from the public eye anytime soon.

In fact, now that the games are over, he's more ready than ever for his next big gig — joining The Voice this fall as a new coach for season 26. The legendary rapper is a newcomer to the music competition show, along with Michael Bublé, and both will be joining Reba McEntire, who joined as a coach during season 24, and longtime judge Gwen Stefani, who is the most veteran of all four, having held the coveted red chair in seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, 19, 22 and 24. As for what fans can expect with such a versatile group of judges? Snoop had a lot to say.

In a clip posted by NBC, Snoop, being interviewed by Mike Tirico in front of the Eiffel Tower at the end of the Paris Olympics, teased the upcoming season, saying, "Man, I'm so happy to be on The Voice. Bublé, Reba, Gwen we are a fearless foursome." The "Young, Wild, and Free" singer went on to talk about how much fun the group has had on the show and praised the the show's talent, calling it "extraordinary." Of course, like with most things Snoop says, fans flooded the comment section with their excited reactions.

"Snoop Dogg is an Olympic staple, he brings so much joy to the game ???? We are going to see him in LA28 right? ?? Cannot wait to watch him on The Voice ????," someone wrote. “Bublé, Reba, Gwen, and Snoop are four celebrities I didn’t think existed in the same realm ??????,” another added. "Your time at the Olympics was incredible! Everyone enjoyed you so much Snoop Dog! The voice is going to be great with your 4 coaches, all difference styles and personalities. Can't wait!" someone else commented. Another fan said, "Snoop is all over the place. He's the man."

Snoop is certainly not the first rapper to join as a judge, but his unique sound and his personality have a lot of fans eager to watch. Unfortunately for fans, we know he won't be a judge on season 27, since it was announced former judges Adam Levine and John Legend would be returning along with Michael and newcomer Kelsea Ballerini.

But never say never on a possible return for season 28. Fingers crossed!
