Snoop Dogg Gifted Bruce Lee’s Iconic Nunchucks By Raising Cane’s Owner
Raising Cane’s is all about giving back to its hard workers, supporters, and communities that they represent.
This past Sunday (Sept. 22) to Wednesday (Sept. 25), the chicken finger chain hosted more than 3,000 Raising Cane’s leaders, guests, and their significant others at Moon Palace Resort in Cancún, Mexico, for an “industry-defining conference.” Even with Hurricane Helene on the horizon, Raising Cane’s was still able to treat “Caniacs” to an all-expenses paid vacation filled with relaxing fun in the sun, all-inclusive amenities, exclusive merch, and Snoop Dogg!
On Monday (Sept. 23), the Doggfather joined Raising Cane’s owner Todd Graves onstage for a fireside chat about leadership in his respective field of work. Following Snoop’s inspiring discussion, he was gifted the late Bruce Lee’s legendary nunchucks from Enter The Dragon as a gift of appreciation for coming to Cancún.
Taken back by the iconic gift, the Bruce Lee fanatic fell to his knees and bowed down to the martial arts weapons, after imitating moves from the film and giving Graves a hug. See below.
“Todd is a great man and great person who always inspires me to do more and I’m so thankful for our partnership. Cane’s has so many great programs to help people grow and it’s important to highlight that,” stated Snoop.
“I used to be one of those kids hoping and wishing that a celeb I was close to would be approachable and touchable. I wanted to come back and give those kids what I never had. It’s important to be genuine, authentic, and a student of the business, and Todd is all three of those things,” he continued.
Following the surprise chat, attendees enjoyed fireworks, a drone show, and mini-concert on the beach with musical vibes provided by the West Coast legend himself.
Graves and Snoop have been friends for some time now, notably with the multifaceted impresario kicking off Cane’s “Drive-Thru Series” where he made an appearance at a Raising Cane’s in Arkansas.
Since then, the 54-year-old has been Cane’s family — helping out with marketing campaigns and Graves’ shows Restaurant Recovery and Secret Sauce. Graves has also been a supporter of Snoop as he was featured in Snoop’s movie The Underdoggs, and has donated $100,000 to Snoop Youth Football League.
