Back in April, Days of Our Lives’ Greg Rikaart (Leo; The Young and the Restless’ Kevin) shared some exciting news… He had planned to run in the New York City Marathon to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Well, months later, he has completed that task — and many of his daytime friends came out to cheer him on.

“I’ve had some pretty epic days in NYC but I [don’t know] that anything tops this one,” Rikaart stated of the event that took place last Sunday, November 3.

The actor posted various photos and videos from the big run, including shots from over the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and through the streets of the city. There was even a sweet pic of Rikaart’s husband Robert Sudduth and their son Montgomery posing with him upon the finish and prior to that, a video where he ran up to his hubby and son who were standing on the sidelines during the race. The post closed out with a celebratory meal among family and friends, which was well deserved!
Sudduth sent his husband some love by sharing, “Love you, babe! We’re all so proud of you.” And when it comes to his daytime family, many rushed to the comments to share their congratulations. The Young & Restless actor who plays his onscreen brother Michael, Christian Leblanc, cheered, “Amazing!” as Elizabeth Hendrickson, the actress who appears as his Genoa City wife Chloe, added, “Cutie!” Many, many more echoed their congrats, and The Bold and the Beautiful’s Rebecca Budig (Taylor), who happens to be Rikaart’s BFF, joked, “I hope your legs are sore today.”
