The Jil Sander spring 2025 show at Milan Fashion Week on Sept. 18 featured a starry front row, with musicians like Solange Knowles, Jack Harlow, Future and Khalid stopping by.
Knowles was there not only to behold a new presentation of fashion from the European brand but to watch her son Julez Smith, an up-and-coming model, walk in the show. He also made several appearances at New York Fashion Week this month.
For the momentous affair in Italy, Knowles showed off her unique flair for fashion. For her top, the musician kept things simple with a black pullover sweater. She complemented this with a sheer lacy skirt which fell to her feet with a straight silhouette. The pattern was constructed with spacious gaps, allowing her legs to be seen. The “Cranes in the Sky” singer complemented the black-on-black ensemble with chunky silver earrings and a black fuzzy purse with a silver strap.
When it came to her footwear, Solange opted for a pair of quirky black sandals. The shoes featured a flat sole exaggerated with tufts of black feathers, which created a bold fuzzy trim along the base. The shoes also featured slender straps across the top of the foot in a variation of a T-shape. There was also a fuzzy strap around the big toe embellished with eye-catching rhinestones. Knowles is known to add intrigue to an outfit with striking footwear, with another example being the gold Bottega Veneta Atomic pumps she wore with a black ensemble earlier this September at a Harper’s Bazaar cocktail party.
The artist was joined in the front row by a number of other well-dressed public figures. Jack Harlow, for example, made an impression in an oversized black jacket with glossy black shoes; Khalid wore a similar pair of shoes with a long single-breasted gray coat.
