Something's Brewing: Chick-fil-A Jumps on the Free Coffee Bandwagon
Your total is … zero?
First McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts did it, and now Chick-fil-A is jumping on the complementary caffeine train. Throughout the month of February, Chick-fil-A locations nationwide are offering free coffee.
What’s the catch? There really isn’t one, as customers are welcome to a cup of its hot or iced Thrive Farmers Coffee, no purchase required.
Of course, the restaurant is hoping that once you’re hooked on its java, you’ll realize how well it pairs with a spicy chicken biscuit (and, also steer clear of its competitors). And these beans sound promising: Georgia-based Thrive networks with family-owned coffee producers in Central America.

“The coffee giveaway especially makes sense in light of how important breakfast has become to fast food restaurants. Breakfast is the only meal of the day that has experienced consistent growth in sales in recent years, which explains why more competitors are entering or expanding into the space,” Time reports.
So you might pick up a coffee addiction, but just think of how much you’ll save on those daily $4 lattes.
