Last fall, Sophie Turner was snapped in Paris kissing Peregrine "Perry" Pearson. Turner and Pearson, according to a source in the Sun, "were chatting and laughing a lot." The onlooker added, "He then took his hat off and leaned in to give her a big kiss. After the kiss they parted ways."
Throughout spring and summer 2024, Turner and Pearson were pictured together, showing they were still going strong—and in September 2024, days after Turner finalized her divorce from Joe Jonas, Pearson appeared on her Instagram feed.
But, hold up: Who is Peregrine Pearson? Though Perry has a pretty low profile online—his Instagram is private (though Turner follows him)—we found out everything you need to know about the British aristocrat.
His full name is the Hon Peregrine "Perry" John Dickinson Pearson.
Pearson was born on October 27, 1994 to Michael Orlando Weetman Pearson, 4th Viscount Cowdray and Marina Rose Cordle, the Viscountess Cowdray. His parents recently separated this summer after 36 years of marriage.
Perry is the heir to the Cowdray Estate, which is located in West Sussex. His father is the 4th Viscount Cowdray, and when Perry inherits the seat, he will be the 5th Viscount Cowdray.
Perry has four siblings, and is an uncle.
He has three older sisters, Eliza (b. 1988), Emily (b. 1989), Catrina (b. 1991), and one younger brother, Montague (b. 1997). Eliza is married to Leif Kvaal, a Norwegian financier, and they have three children. Emily is also married, with one child.
He works at a property development company.
According to LinkedIn, Perry works as a director for Weetman Developments. His official bio is as follows: "Previously with the Cowdray Estate, with whom he retains a strong affiliation, his focus was on tenant and landlord matters as well as more strategic planning opportunities including the delivery of 60 new homes in the heart of the estate. He started his career working as an assistant site manager for Cordles, a London based contractor."
According to Tatler, Perry is also an ambassador for Le Chameau.
Perry dated Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark.
Princess Maria-Olympia is King Charles's goddaughter; she and Perry dated from 2020 to 2023, and rumors of their split began in the summer, when he wasn't spotted at her birthday party.
He doesn't play polo.
The Cowdray estate is home to the Cowdray Park Polo Club, which hosts many polo matches every year—including ones where the royals compete. However, Perry himself doesn't really play. "I'm getting lessons, I grew up riding and over the next few years it's something I can see myself doing a lot more," he told the Telegraph.
