‘Sopranos’ star Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s ‘brave’ son walks out of hospital 33 days after ICU ‘nightmare’

Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s 10-year-old son, Beau, is home after spending 33 days in the hospital.

The “Sopranos” star’s oldest child was diagnosed with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis and went through a “nightmare” experience in the ICU.

But over the weekend, Sigler revealed on Instagram that Beau was finally “busting out” of the hospital.

She shared a sweet video of her son walking down a hallway in the hospital as people lined up on both sides and cheered.

Beau sweetly skipped down and high-fived people during the celebratory moment.

The video ended with a photo of Beau with his back turned to the camera as he pointed at himself and stood in front of a sign that said, “Heroes This Way.”

“After 33 days, we are busting out of here!” Sigler began her caption.

“My brave boy, you are a walking miracle,” she wrote. “The rest of this story will be Beau’s to tell, if he chooses to one day.”

The “MeSsy” podcast host went on to thank the “incredible” staff at Dells Children’s Hospital in Austin, Texas.

“The way you take care of your patients and the way you guide their families through the process, I just don’t have enough words,” she said. “I’m in awe of your patience, dedication, and expertise … But, no offense.. I hope we never see you again

Sigler revealed her son’s ADEM diagnosis on Instagram earlier this month.

ADEM is a very rare, neurological immune response that sometimes kids can get after contracting a simple virus.

“4 weeks ago, what seemed like a normal virus for our son, turned into a nightmare,” Sigler wrote on Instagram on Aug. 6.

“Beau has what we believe to be, ADEM. To say this has been hard, is an understatement, and I’ve never felt more broken,” she added.

On her podcast with Christina Applegate, Sigler said Beau had a 105-degree fever and screamed that his head hurt when he was rushed to the hospital. He went to the ER three separate times over the next days, only to be sent home after tests were run.

But after his symptoms got worse, Beau was brought to the ICU where he lost his ability to speak and, at one point, his ability to move his legs.

“It was and has been like the darkest, hardest, most f – – ked up thing I’ve ever been through,” the actress explained on her podcast.

Beau was eventually taken out of the ICU, but he had to stay in the hospital until his recent release.

In her Aug. 6 Instagram post, Sigler gave a shoutout to her husband, Cutter Dykstra, for his “patience and strength” during the trying time.

She also showed love to her second son, 6-year-old Jack, writing, “The way you just ‘got it’ and turned into a care taker for your brother with each hospital visit reminds me of the beauty in this world.”
