‘Southern Charm’ Star Thomas Ravenel Battles Ex Kathryn Dennis Over Bank Records and Private Texts in Custody Showdown
“Southern Charm” star Thomas Ravenel is trying to get a judge to side with him in his battle with ex Kathryn Dennis, who are now battling over texts conversations and bank records in their custody battle.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Ravenel is pleading with a South Carolina judge to order he does not have to turn over records to Dennis that deal with any issues prior to June 30, 2017.
He accuses her of trying to bring up the allegations of alleged sexual assault by him against other women, including their former nanny. Ravenel claims when they reached their original custody deal in 2017, Dennis was fully aware of all allegations of sexual harassment against him.
Ravenel claims the judge reviewed it all and still awarded him primary physical custody. He says, as a result, she should not be allowed to bring up the allegations again in the new custody battle.
He is also taking issue with Dennis demanding he turn over bank records, certain text messages, and emails between him and other people over the years. She’s also after records of social media posts he made.
Ravenel is asking the judge to limit what he has to turn over saying it would be too burdensome for him otherwise.

Back in November 2018, Ravenel filed a lawsuit against Bravo and “Southern Charm” producers demanding a judge stop them from broadcasting unaired footage on the show.
Ravenel filed the docs as part of his custody battle with Dennis. She filed for primary custody of the children back in October.
Dennis had her custody taken away in 2016 after failing a drug test but was awarded joint custody this year after completing rehab and staying clean.
In his suit against Bravo, Ravenel says the network and “Southern Charm” producers “encouraged” his ex to file for custody against him to create drama on the show. He is demanding Dennis not be awarded primary custody despite her request.
Ravenel, who is about to be on trial for an alleged sexual assault in South Carolina, claimed he learned that Bravo and producers have unaired footage of his kids and ex talking about the legal battle and it was to be aired on the upcoming season.
The reality star sued demanding a South Carolina judge prohibit the sensitive footage from airing on the show.
Ravenel would later file docs accusing Dennis of buying drugs from friends and show producers and even accused her of committing a hit-and-run.
Dennis fired back denying the allegations and demanded the lawsuit be dismissed. She accused him of past drug use and claimed he hired a private eye to follow her allegedly in violation of the restraining order in place.
The custody battle is ongoing.
