Steve Harvey Schooled on ‘Uranus’ Pronunciation by Neil deGrasse Tyson
On Celebrity Family Feud, Steve Harvey got schooled by Neil deGrasse Tyson on the proper pronunciation of Uranus. According to Tyson, it’s pronounced “yer-uh-nus” instead of the more comedic pronunciation that many a middle schooler has giggled at in science class. But let’s be real — potty humor isn’t exclusive to the young, and Harvey dove right into that black hole making all the anus jokes one could possibly hope for.
But when Tyson said, “You could say ‘Ur-anus’ until you’re like 8,” Harvey was not having it. Harvey got right in his scientist face and said, “I’m getting tired of your ass, man! You ain’t gonna come on here and keep talking to me like I’m stupid!” Don’t worry — it was all in good fun.
Once the game got started and the astrophysicist found himself at a loss for words entirely for one of the questions, Harvey poked fun saying, “Well, well, well. Oh, so soon? Nothing.”
Celebrity Family Feud airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
