Steven Curtis Chapman to perform acoustic Christmas show to Nixa's Aetos Center

The Aetos Center for the Performing Arts announced Monday that Steven Curtis Chapman will perform his acoustic Christmas show in mid-December.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show on Sunday, Dec. 15 will go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at www.aetoscenter.net.

Chapman, who started performing more than three decades ago, is the most awarded artist in Christian music history. He has 59 Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, five GRAMMY Awards, an American Music Award, and a historic 50 No. 1 singles. He has sold more than 17 million albums with 10 certified gold and platinum.

He has also collaborated with, or had his songs recorded by other artists and musical groups including Amy Grant, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, CeCe Winans, and others. His songs of hope have also crossed genres, seeing collaborations with Glenn Campbell, Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts, Ricky Skaggs, Brad Paisley, Lauren Alaina, and Mitchell Tenpenny.

In 2017, Chapman also became a best-selling author with his memoir Between Heaven and the Real World: My Story.

His new album, Still, is filled with entirely fresh, life-giving songs for the masses, including his 50th No. 1 hit “Don’t Lose Heart."

Tickets are $85 for VIP, $45 for reserved floor, and $35 for balcony.
