Talent Manager Kaelyn Hutchins Joins Neon Kite
EXCLUSIVE: Kaelyn Hutchins has joined Neon Kite as a Talent Manager, Deadline has learned.
Hutchins comes to the company after a little more than a year and a half at Strand Entertainment (formerly Silver Lining Entertainment), and will continue working with a number of her clients including Annie Gonzalez (Flamin’ Hot), Maya Lynne Robinson (The Unicorn), Kelen Coleman (The Newsroom), and Carolina Moreno (Acapulco).

Prior to Strand Entertainment, Hutchins worked as a Talent Manager at Principal Entertainment LA for nearly nine years. She began her career as a Programming Intern for the Newport Beach Film Festival and was upped to Features Programmer before transitioning to management as an assistant at Jordan Lee Talent.
In a statement to Deadline on the hiring, a spokesperson for Neon Kite said, “Kaelyn has an amazing foundation paired with a great eye. We have watched her skillfully build and nurture the careers of her clients and couldn’t be more excited to have her join us at Neon Kite.”
Launched three years ago by founder Lisa Wright and partner Jay Glazer, Neon Kite’s clients on the talent side include Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary), Alexandra Shipp (Barbie), Brandon Sklenar (1923), Christina Milian (Dexter: Origins), Camila Perez (Acapulco), Anupam Kher (The Big Sick), Tabu (Dune: Prophecy), Algee Smith (Detroit), Bart Edwards (The Witcher), Rachel Hilson (Duster), Kyanna Simone (The Supremes at Earl’s All-You-Can-Eat), Jamie Clayton (The L Word: Generation Q), Emma McDonald (The Serpent Queen), Dylan Smith (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power) and Rhenzy Feliz (The Penguin).
Clients on the lit front include Alexander Newman-Wise (The Sandman), Bob Krzykowski (Grendel), Chuck Rose (The Art of More), Laura Streicher (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Cory Miller (Body Language), Alexandra McGuinness (She’s Missing), Tricia Lee (3x Black List), and Satya Bhabha (Big Door Prize).
Additionally, Neon Kite recently produced the thriller Body Language, with clients Miller and Christina Milian, and is currently in pre-production on Grendel, with Jeff Bridges, Bryan Cranston, Dave Bautista, and Thomasin McKenzie attached to star. Their development slate includes Pleaser with Julia Fox attached to star, My Father and Other Animals with Brenton Thwaites attached to star, and Unt. Sandra Pankhurst with Jamie Clayton attached to star.
