“#TBT Nothing warms my heart more than seeing my kids with their grandma! ????,” the actress began in the caption to her Instagram carousel.
Mowry-Housley shares son Aden, 11, and daughter Ariah, 8, with her husband, Adam Housley, whom she married in 2011.
In the images, the two siblings sat smiling on either side of Mowry-Housley’s mother, Darlene Mowry. The trio gathered for dinner at an outdoor restaurant as Aden made a funny face for the second photo.
“We love you so much and we can’t wait to see you again soon. These moments are priceless. Who else has kids that can’t get enough of grandma?” the Sister, Sister alum concluded.
Mowry-Housley and Housley recently celebrated 13 years of marriage and the actress spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about the importance of family and how their children play a role in their ever-evolving relationship.
"What's gotten easier is that we truly know each other, so we can communicate with our eyes closed," she told PEOPLE of Housley at the 49th Annual Gracie Awards in Beverly Hills on May 21.
The Disney alum added that she and her husband have grown closer over the years and don’t always need to talk to be on the same page.
"I can sense when something's off, even though he may not be saying it. So we communicate verbally, but also non-verbally, if that makes sense."
She also noted that the couple’s children “getting older" can present a new set of challenges within itself.
"You have to make sure, especially in this day and age, that their mental health is good, because they're faced with so many things that we weren't faced with," Mowry-Housley said.
In a previous interview with PEOPLE, she reflected on the perks of motherhood.
"They have taught me to be present and enjoy the most simple things in life," she said in 2016. "It gives me so much joy, especially as a busy mom, just giving them a bath, reading them a book, brushing our teeth together. They taught me how to have fun in the most simple moments."
More recently, she gushed about feeling fulfilled in a sweet Mother’s Day post.
