Will Taylor Swift Attend the Chiefs-Lions Game on Aug. 17 to Cheer on Travis Kelce?

On Saturday, Aug. 17, the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Detroit Lions during a home preseason game at Arrowhead Stadium. The real question on the minds of Taylor Swift fans, however, is: Will the pop superstar be there cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce?

Unfortunately for Swifties hoping to catch a glimpse of the "Cruel Summer" singer supporting her tight end beau, Swift will not attend the matchup. That's because she will perform her third consecutive Eras Tour show at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

The Chiefs-Lions game will kick off at 3 p.m. CT on Saturday. So even with London time being six hours ahead—and Swift taking the Eras Tour stage at roughly 7 p.m. local time—she still wouldn't be able to swing it.

Swift similarly missed the Chiefs' first preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Aug. 10.

It's worth noting the "Fortnight" songstress could potentially attend the Chiefs' next preseason game on Aug. 22. After Saturday, Swift will play two more shows in London—Aug. 19 and Aug. 20—before enjoying an extended break from touring. So she should be free, barring any non-Eras-Tour-related schedule conflicts.

The next Chiefs matchup (the first regular season game) is a home game on Sept. 5 against the Baltimore Ravens, which Swift can likely also attend. After that, any Chiefs matchups through September and including Oct. 7 are all potential events for Swift sightings.

On Oct. 18, Swift will resume Eras Tour shows in Miami, Fla., before traveling to New Orleans and Indianapolis. After that, the 34-year-old will head to Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, wrapping up her wildly popular tour on Dec. 8.
