Taylor Swift Hosted Her Celeb-Packed Rhode Island Weekend Because She's Been "Busy and Disconnected"
While the rest of us spent last weekend, IDK, wandering around aimlessly and wondering why no one has invited us to their Hamptons house, Taylor Swift gathered her nearest and dearest celeb friends and hosted them in Rhode Island. Specifically, her massive Rhode Island mansion—aka the place Tom Hiddleston once wore a "I Heart T.S." tank top.
In attendance? Ahem: Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Travis Kelce, Jason Kelce, Kylie Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Brittany Mahomes, Bradley Cooper, and Gigi Hadid. And apparently it was a great chance for Tay—who just wrapped up the European leg of her Eras Tour—to reconnect.
"Taylor has been on tour and working nonstop and she loves the Rhode Island house and wanted to spend some time there while the weather is still good and she can enjoy it," a source tells Us Weekly. "It has felt wonderful to be grounded back home again. It’s been grounding to see friends and family and spend quality time with everyone, chat and get downloaded on everyone’s worlds because she has been so busy and disconnected."
The "preplanned celebration" was as a chance for everyone to get some "R&R," and also an opportunity to celebrate Blake Lively's birthday. Plus, Taylor got to spend time with her Chiefs tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce. As the insider put it, "She was so happy to reunite with him and just be together."
Reminder that Taylor has all of September off before the Eras Tour kicks off again in the USA and Canada, and she's said to be spending the majority of her time with Travis in Kansas City. Stay tuned and whatnot.
