Taylor Swift wishes her mom a happy Mother's Day with video of her 10-month-old self
Myyyyyyyy goodness, Taylor Swift was a cutie at 10 months.
The pop star posted a video of herself to Instagram and Twitter Sunday to celebrate Mother's Day, captioning the adorable clip, "My conversations with my mom have always been and will always be some of my favorite memories - from when I was 10 months old in this video from October 1990 to now talking every day on the phone. Our talks are everything to me."
In the video, a tiny Taylor counts – sort of – chews on her shoelace and shows off her talking skills at the prompting of her mom, Andrea, off-camera.
Swift, who is particularly close to her mother, told Variety in January that while her mom "was going through (cancer) treatment, they found a brain tumor."
Andrea Swift was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and her superstar daughter said in 2019 that it had returned.
"The symptoms of what a person goes through when they have a brain tumor is nothing like what we’ve ever been through with her cancer before," Taylor Swift continued in the interview. "So it’s just been a really hard time for us as a family.”

The singer pulled from personal experience with her mother for her song "Soon You’ll Get Better." Another track, "Lover," a collaboration with the Dixie Chicks, is a simply-sung ballad that features Swift willing a loved one to recover from an illness.
Swift's timely tribute managed to work in one of the things her mom had her say at 10 months: "Myyyyyyyy goodness I love you Mom. Happy Mother’s Day."
She closed by reaching out to fans who couldn't be with their own moms because of coronavirus restrictions, saying, "PS for those of you who are separated from your loved ones or struggling with this day, my heart is with you."
