Teen who brought cardboard cutout of Danny DeVito to prom meets him in real life on 'The Talk'
Once again, a viral story has come full circle.
Earlier this year, high school senior Allison Closs brought along a cardboard cutout of Danny DeVito as her prom date.
Then, DeVito returned the favor, bringing a cardboard cutout of Allison to the set of the TV show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Case closed, right? Well, today, the women of The Talk put together the ultimate surprise. First, they told Danny DeVito to hide backstage. Then, they welcomed Closs — who was waiting outside — onto the show. She was under the assumption that she’d be talking about going viral.
But after the hosts presented her with some new cardboard DeVitos, they unveiled the real deal.
DeVito even channeled Frank — his skeevy character from It’s Always Sunny — to ask about the future of his cardboard likeness. “You’re going to put me in your dorm room?” he asked Closs. “How many other girls in the dorm room?”
