Teen Wolf casts Marisol Nichols as the Desert Wolf

Thanks to the arrival of the Dread Doctors, the mystery of the Desert Wolf has taken a bit of a backseat this season on Teen Wolf. But we know that the wolf will make an appearance at some point, hence Lydia’s vision of Malia coming face-to-face with her mother. 

And now we know who will be playing the elusive wolf. EW has confirmed that NCIS star Marisol Nichols is joining Teen Wolf‘s fifth season as the Desert Wolf, which was first reported by TVLine. What that means and how long she’ll stick around are still to be determined. But from what we know of her, she’s incredibly violent and might have tried to kill her own child at one point. In other words, her arrival into Beacon Hills probably isn’t a good thing.

But perhaps her return could mean the return of Braeden? Hey, a fan can hope.
