Teri Hatcher & Emerson Tenney Made a Rare Mother-Daughter Appearance at Berlin Fashion Week
It’s Berlin Fashion Week and Teri Hatcher decided to make a rare, twinning appearance with her daughter, Emerson Tenney. The mother-daughter duo took the red carpet by storm at the Marc Cain show where they wore stunning deep-purple ensembles.
The 59-year-old actress opted for a shimmery dress that was embedded with long, mesh sleeves and feathers at the cuffs. She accessorized the playful outfit with black open-toe heels and her hair styled in gentle waves. Emerson, 26, from Hatcher’s marriage to actor Jon Tenney, chose a very Chanel-like look with a tailored skirt suit with gold embellishments. She paired the design with knee-high black boots, a black purse, and her hair pulled off her face. The lookalike dynamic duo looked so happy to be together.

Hatcher divorced Tenney in 2003, just a year before her massive success on Desperate Housewives. Emerson was only five years old, but she admitted to the Irish Examiner that she felt “guilty” about her decision to leave her daughter’s father. “It wasn’t so much that my marriage changed: I was aware of things I was settling for and thought what was there was enough. Ten years later, it just wasn’t,” Hatcher explained. “I never wanted Emerson to have parents in different households, and I’ll always feel guilty forever that she has to go back and forth.”
The good news is that she and Tenney were able to foster a positive co-parenting situation for Emerson over the years. “Her dad and I work really hard to make it as easy as possible for her, and I genuinely think she’s OK,” she said. Hatcher has always been close to her only child, and they even trained for the New York City Marathon together, which was quite a bonding experience for them.
“Something about the ups and downs of training for such a physical feat as a marathon — that sort of vulnerability, the adversity that you have to get through and pushing through walls together — and having that experience as a team; it’s just a bonding thing that you can’t really replace or have from any other experience,” Hatcher told People in 2018. “And I think we both wanted that together.”
