Tickets are now on sale for The Grand's star-studded 2024-25 season

Looking to fill your calendar with top-shelf entertainment?

The Grand in Wilmington has announced its 2024-25 season with plenty of big names including Melissa Etheridge, Dionne Warwick, Air Supply and Suzanne Vega, as well as family-friendly fare including Disney Junior Live, Fraggle Rock and much more.

The lineup also includes comedy acts, cirque performances, tribute concerts to everyone from Celia Cruz to Jerry Garcia, and previously announced Broadway national tours, according to press materials.

The balance of the season was announced at a season preview event on Wednesday, July 31.

“This year in particular, The Grand has something for audiences of all ages and tastes, and we are proud to present one of the strongest and most exciting lineups in recent memory,” said Skip Pennella, executive director, in a statement.

“It is our sincere hope that we continue to honor the rich history of these iconic buildings as Delaware’s home for the performing arts, as well as continue to serve our community through our many education, engagement, and outreach initiatives.”

The fun starts with comedian Kathleen Madigan on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The Grand’s Broadway in Wilmington series returns with “Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” on Oct. 11. All performances take place in the newly remodeled and enhanced Playhouse on Rodney Square, attached to the historic Hotel du Pont.

Details about The Grand’s 48th annual Grand Gala and the Ultimate After Party at the Hotel du Pont will come later this summer, Grand officials said.

Those purchasing tickets can get a 10% discount per ticket if they buy for three shows and 20% per ticket if they buy for six, as well as “free parking vouchers and a dining discount card to many of the local restaurants.’’ Please note that discounts are not offered on Broadway in Wilmington shows.
