Tickets go on sale soon for Quakertown native Sabrina Carpenter concert in Philly
Bucks County native Sabrina Carpenter, who was Taylor's Swift's opening act on legs of the Eras Tour in South America, Asia and Australia, will be headlining her own tour this fall. Carpenter's 29-date Short n' Sweet Tour includes a stop at the Wells Fargo Center.
Tickets go on sale this week for the Oct. 8 date in Philadelphia.
Where is Sabrina Carpenter from
Born in Quakertown, her family lived in nearby East Greenville, Montgomery County, before heading to Los Angeles to pursue her career at 13. Shortly after, she landed the role of Maya Hart in Disney Channel's "Girl Meets World."
It's been a busy past few months after returning from her Eras Tour stint. The 24-year-old performed in April at Coachella in California then was the musical guest on the season finale of “Saturday Night Live” May 18. The tour is in support of her upcoming sixth studio album, "Short n' Sweet," due to drop this fall.
Her latest single "Please Please Please" hit No. 1 this week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, on the heels of her breakout hit "Espresso," which reached No. 3 earlier this month and now sits at No. 4. Some music pundits tout "Please Please Please" as the potential signature song of summer '24.

Tickets go on sale for the Philly show at ticketmaster.com Friday, June 28, at 10 a.m. Amaarae is the scheduled opener for the 7 p.m. concert.
Seats are available now in presales through secondary markets, including VividSeats, starting at $232, Viagogo, which ranges from $228 to over $1,100, StubHub ($248-$1022) and Seat Geek. Prices are as of June 25 and can change due to dynamic pricing and other market factors.

Carpenter, who was signed to a record deal 10 years ago, has five albums to her credit, including 2022’s “emails I can’t send,” which featured the single “Feather.” She followed it up with the holiday-themed EP “Fruitcake” in November 2023.
As an actress, in addition to Carpenter's role in "Girl Meets World," which ran from 2014 to 2017, she has also appeared in “Law & Order: SVU” and the movies “Adventures in Babysitting” (2016 version), “Tall Girl” (2019) and “Work It (2020).”
