Tim McGraw Asks for Fans’ Support As Daughter Gracie Shares Major News
Tim McGraw is one proud papa!
The "Humble And Kind" singer couldn't have been more pleased to announce that his oldest daughter with Faith Hill, Gracie McGraw, had been cast in her off-Broadway debut, a production called Babe.
It's not specified if the show is a play or a musical, but the synopsis reads, "From grunge to femme punk hits, Abby and Gus have produced it all. Their work marriage is legendary and Gus has the platinum records to prove it. But when Katherine, a fresh A&R hire, calls Abby out on the compromises she’s made in her work, Abby must face the music and fight to survive."
While Gracie shared the news on her Instagram Story, reposting the theater company's cast announcement without additional comment, her dad excitedly uploaded it to his feed, requesting fans to support the 27-year-old when he wrote, "Check out our daughter Gracie in her debut !!!We are so proud of her!!"
The revelation seems to answer fans' questions about whether Gracie would be sticking around the New York City area as she packed up her home earlier this week, teasing a big move to an unspecified new home.
Fans wished her luck as she worked to "downsize" to something "that is more long term and less work," dancing about as she tossed her book collection into boxes and "screaming into the void" of her closet in a moment of frustration as she admitted that she, like most, "hate[s] packing [and] moving."
Now, they're even more excited for her big career move, with one writing, in part, "Bravo Gracie! So happy for her. She’s making great strides. Talent is never ending in the McGraw Family!"
"??????????she belongs on Broadway with her pipes," another asserted.
Babe premiers on Oct. 29, 2024 at the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theater in Midtown Manhattan.
