Tink collaborates with Tazer for 'Wet Dollars'
Rapper Tink added her voice to Tazer’s “Wet Dollars,” and the result is a drum-heavy, dance-ready track that’s even more of an earworm than the original.
The two premiered the collaboration on BBC Radio 1Xtra, where Tink talked about her beginnings as a young girl—she started writing when she was 10—releasing mixtapes in Chicago before Timbaland “found” her. And now, she’s getting ready to release her debut album, Think Tink, sometime this year.
As for her collaboration with Tazer, Tink told BBC she was instantly captivated by “Wet Dollars.” “When I first heard the beat, I was like ‘Wait a minute…,'” she said. “It was nothing I had ever before, especially in the States, you know what I’m saying? I immediately had to take advantage. I had to spit on it, I had to.” Listen below.
