One in four women is the subject of some type of molestation or abuse by the time she is 25 – and it leaves scars that need to be addressed.

If your child tells you that he or she has been the victim of abuse, you need to take action.
“The first thing you need to do is hear them. You need to believe them. You need to sit down with them and talk to them,” Dr. Phil says in Today’s Takeaway. “Then, you need to let them see you take action and protect them.”
