Tom Cruise to Star in Film From Director of The Revenant
Tom Cruise is providing his considerable star power to an untitled movie directed by Alejandro G. I?árritu - not that the film needs it.
The Mission: Impossible actor features alongside award-winning Hollywood talent, including Oscar-nominated Anatomy of a Fall actress Sandra Hüller, Emmy winner John Goodman, Emmy nominee Michael Stuhlbarg, and Oscar nominee Jesse Plemons. Oscar winner Riz Ahmed is also in negotiations to join the cast.
That’s without mentioning I?árritu himself, who’s already won four Oscars. His movie, in which he teams with Warner Bros and Legendary Entertainment, “follows the most powerful man in the world who tries to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything,” according to Deadline.

Cruise not only stars in the film, but he’s also developing and producing it with the help of his production company located on Warner Bros.’ California site. He formed a strategic partnership with the company back in January. The last time he starred in a Warner Bros movie was 2014 sci-fi action film Edge of Tomorrow.
