Travis Kelce Reacts to Taylor Swift's Rare Comment on 'Magic' Relationship
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards show was filled with viral Taylor Swift moments, from the "Bad Blood" singer "vibing along" to Katy Perry's performance to her edgy red carpet fashion (a yellow-and-black plaid Dior dress). Especially attention-grabbing, however, were Swift's remarks about her relationship with Travis Kelce—which even got a reaction from the former Kansas City Chiefs player himself, who was absent for the event.
The "Blank Space" songstress raved about Kelce during her acceptance speech for Video of the Year, revealing how supportive he was while she was filming the video for "Fortnight."
“Something that I’ll always remember is when I would finish a take and I’d say cut and we’d be done with that take, I would always just hear someone cheering ‘woo’ from across the studio where we were shooting it, and that one person was my boyfriend, Travis," Swift said.
“Everything this man touches turns to happiness and fun and magic, so I wanna thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that," she added.
Kelce wasn't there to show his appreciation in person, but he was quick to "like" a clip of the speech posted to Instagram by MTV's official account.
"One person ONLY cheers louder for @taylorswift than I do – and that’s @killatrav ?? #VMAs," read the post's caption.

Swifties couldn't get enough of the star's sweet shout-out for Kelce.
"She’s so proud to call him her boyfriend??????," commented one fan.
"America’s royal couple I know that’s right," wrote a second person.
Swift took home seven awards on Wednesday night, including Artist of the Year, officially becoming the most-awarded solo artist in VMA history (surpassing Beyoncé's previously held record at 26 wins). Before this year's ceremony, Swift already had 23 VMA wins under her belt including four Video of the Year wins for "Bad Blood," "You Need to Calm Down," "All Too Well: The Short Film" and "Anti-Hero."
