These Travis Scott x Air Jordans Aren’t Coming Out

More from Footwear News

Update: Sept. 7, 2024 at 1:50 p.m. ET:

Travis Scott has a number of upcoming Nike and Jordan Brand projects on the way, but two rumored Air Jordan 1 Low collaborations have reportedly been scrapped from the 2025 release calendar.

As first shared by Air Jordan 1 aficionado @MrUnloved1s on X, sources have confirmed that the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low “Shy Pink” and “Dark Pony” colorways have been canceled and the sneakers will no longer be released. Both pairs were originally expected to launch in spring ’25, with the “Shy Pink” colorway being a men’s release and the “Dark Pony” iteration a women’s exclusive.

Despite the apparent cancelation of the releases, it seems that at least one of the pairs exists in sample form. In July, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin — a close friend of Travis Scott’s — shared on Instagram a clip of entrepreneur Ronnie Prassas wearing the unreleased “Shy Pink” collaboration. Despite this, it’s now likely the shoe will remain exclusive to the rapper’s inner circle.

But it’s not all bad news for Travis Scott fans. A third Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low colorway in “Velvet Brown” was also reported to release around the same time of the “Shy Pink” and “Dark Pony” styles. As of publishing, that “Velvet Brown” style is still on track to be released during spring ’25.

Readers are encouraged to check back for more updates as this appears to be a fluid situation.

What We Originally Reported on May 25, 2024

Multihyphenate entertainer Travis Scott released today his latest sneaker collaboration with Jordan Brand — a “Canary Yellow” Air Jordan 1 Low inspired by the colors of his high school — and as usual, the stock sold out quickly. But according to the latest leaks, there are a number of new colorways in the pipeline.

Early info from insiders @sneakermarketro and @zsneakerheadz points to three new Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows releasing during Spring 2025. One of the pairs is expected to be a women’s exclusive, while the other two will come in full family sizing. The women’s pair is a “Dark Pony/Pink Oxford” and the men’s versions are colored in “Sail/Shy Pink/Muslin” and “Dark Mocha/Black/Velvet Brown.”

As is often the case with early sneaker leaks, there are currently no in-hand images of the three upcoming pairs, and the photos here are speculative mock-ups which may or may not accurately represent the final products. Nevertheless, it appears as though these three pairs will continue to use Travis Scott’s signature blend of neutral earth tones and pastel pinks first seen on his 2019 Air Jordan 1 High collaboration.

It’s already been a busy year for the Travis Scott and Jordan Brand partnership, which saw the official launch of its Jordan Jumpman Jack TR (aka CJ1 T-Rexx) collab in April. The rollout for the Jumpman Jack included a promotional clip with a surprise appearance from former Nike endorser and longtime Travis Scott collaborator Ye.

Retail pricing for each of these Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Lows is expected to match previous releases, with adult pairs at $150, preschool at $80, and toddler sizes at $65. Check back soon for updates, as it’s possible things could shift between now and Spring 2025.
