Trina Reveals Why She And New Husband Don’t Have A Prenuptial Agreement
Trina has revealed that she did not sign a prenuptial agreement with her husband prior to getting wed.
During a recent appearance on Gucci Mane’s wife, Keyshia Ka’oir’s, podcast, All Things Keyshia Ka’oir, Trina touched on her marriage to Benjamin Kearse Jr., whom the rapper tied the knot with earlier this year.
According to Trina, her and Kearse Jr. exchanged vows without need for a prenuptial agreement, as she’s entrusted with handling all of her husbands finances, including expenses.
“I didn’t.” Trina replied when asked whether she signed a prenup. “My husband brings all of his money to me, so I’m in charge. He can’t spend a dime without my consent. He can’t spend a dime for nothing unless it goes through me.”
Elsewhere in the interview, the Diamond Princess delved into more intimate issues involving her and Kearse Jr.’s union, including the couple’s activities behind closed doors. “Being a wife, you have all the rights to be as freaky as you like,” Trina told Ka’oir. “And spicy in the bedroom.”
The 45-year-old, who previously suffered a miscarriage during a past pregnancy, also opened up about potentially having a child with Kearse Jr.
“We talk about it a lot,” Trina said of she and her hubby’s plans to expand their family. “Now would be the time. I’ve been through the whole process of having a kid before, had a miscarriage, it didn’t work. It was the most terrifying thing.”
Kearse Jr., whom Trina met at a party before being wed in a private ceremony in May, previously appeared on Love & Hip Hop: Miami and works in real estate. The pair are currently planning to have a bigger wedding sometime in 2025.
