Turning the other cheek: Jennifer Lopez can’t stop taking swimsuit selfies on Italy getaway without Ben Affleck
She’s turning the other cheek.
Jennifer Lopez, 54, was spotted looking happy and relaxed as she jetted off to Positano, Italy on vacation this week — without husband Ben Affleck in sight.
In the sultry photos, the “Jenny from the Block” singer rocks a $99 white one-piece Gooseberry bathing suit, appearing to be in high spirits on a boat ride with friends despite rumors of a divorce on the horizon.
She can be also seen snapping selfies of her famous derriere, looking for her best angle.
Meanwhile, Affleck is seemingly home in Los Angeles.
Affleck, 51, and Lopez — aka “Bennifer” — were initially together from 2002 to 2004. They ended their engagement in 2004, and went on to marry and have kids with other people — respectively, Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony.
They rekindled their flame in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022. They share a blended family of five kids. He shares kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner, 52, while Lopez is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Anthony.
But for the past few months, they’ve been rumored to be heading for a split.
The rumors began surfacing when J.Lo attended the 2024 Met Gala solo.
Then, it was reported that Affleck is staying at a separate house from Lopez.
Lopez was also seen house hunting, without Affleck.
InTouch reported that Lopez and the “Gone Girl” actor are in therapy to work on their marital issues.
“Ben believes in therapy, to a point, and is willing to be a good sport about participating with an open mind, even though he hates the whole humiliating process,” a source told the outlet.
The couple’s $60 million Beverly Hills mansion was also listed on Zillow earlier this month.
When Affleck’s son, Samuel, 12, graduated earlier this month, Lopez arrived separately and kept her distance.
Affleck has reportedly “come to his senses.”
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” an insider told Page Six in May. “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
Amid the speculation, resurfaced footage from Lopez’s Prime Video documentary, “The Greatest Love Story Never Told,” (now streaming) showcased what their issues may be. In it, Affleck said that he refused to have their relationship broadcast on social media.
“Getting back together, I said, ‘Listen, one of the things I don’t want is a relationship on social media,’” he said in the film.
“Then I sort of realized it’s not a fair thing to ask. It’s sort of like you’re going to marry a boat captain and (you’re like), ‘Well, I don’t like the water.’”
In the photos from J.Lo’s vacation with friends, she can be seen snapping selfies, showcasing her love for social media, which Affleck had voiced his misgivings about.
Paired with her white one-piece that shows off her figure, she was also wearing heeled sandals and large sunglasses, to make her boat day outfit glam.
Lopez’s “solo trip to Italy is a sign that things may not be going well in her marriage with Ben Affleck,” relationship expert Louella Alderson told the Mirror.
“They seem to have spent a lot more time apart recently, with Ben even moving out of their shared home and back into his own place.”
She added, ”It’s possible that Jennifer’s trip to Italy is allowing her some time and space to reflect on her marriage and what she wants for her future.”
