'Today' show gang shows off 2019 Halloween costumes – see how 'The View' hosts, 'Ellen' and more dressed up
The Today Show hosts have long been known to celebrate Halloween in a big way with the annual reveal of their themed costumes on October 31. And this year is no different as the group dressed up to pay tribute to the “most iconic dances of all time.”
Following the ‘80s throwback looks that Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Al Roker and a number of their other co-anchors rocked during 2018’s “Halloween on the Plaza” special, the hosts have been giving hints to what this year’s costumes would be. Still, viewers were set up to be surprised on Thursday morning when the hosts danced their way onto the plaza.

Together, the Today gang honored seven iconic dance moments in history — including “the Carlton” from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air depicted by Roker, Kotb as Tony from Saturday Night Fever and Guthrie and Carson Daly as Sandy and Danny from Grease. But the other cast of characters can’t be missed.

The women of The View went with a spookier theme as they dressed up as various characters created by horror author Stephen King. The show even opened with a mini thriller titled “The Viewing.”
Still, the clip wasn’t as scary as the women’s costumes. Namely, Sunny Hostin dressing as Pennywise from It.
Over at The Real, the ladies got glam in their favorite Met Gala looks. Co-hosts Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley made their entrances to the stage via a set that resembled the famous steps at the gala’s venue and posed just like the celebrity who inspired their costumes.
Ellen DeGeneres, however, actually danced with the rapper who inspired her “Cardi E” costume.
Cardi B made a visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show to see DeGeneres’ look and to give the comedian and host a quick lesson in twerking. But she wasn’t the only guest to join in on the fun. Jason Momoa paid homage to his longtime favorite Elvis Presley and rocked a pink suit for his appearance on the show.
Kelly Clarkson also dedicated her namesake show to the spooky holiday by dressing up as Bette Midler’s character, Winnie, from Hocus Pocus. The singer even performed her own rendition of “I Put a Spell on You.”
Wendy Williams went with a more classic costume as she became the ringmaster of her own Halloween circus.
Last but not least, Tamron Hall paid homage to the late Diahann Carroll by dressing up as her Dynasty character, Dominique Deveraux.

“Bravo,” Hall tweeted in response to her team’s work for putting the look together. “The most legendary Hall-o-Ween.”
