Meet Elle Woods’ mom: Prime Video’s Legally Blonde prequel series, Elle, has cast June Diane Raphael (Grace and Frankie) as the titular character’s mother, our sister site Deadline reports.
The forthcoming show stars Lexi Minetree (The Murdaugh Murders) as Elle Woods in high school and explores “the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first Legally Blonde film,” reads the official synopsis.

Raphael’s character, Eva, is Elle’s role model and is described as “polished, pragmatic and thrives on keeping things picture-perfect,” per Deadline.
