Emmy Award winner Patricia Arquette will headline Hulu’s Murdaugh Murders limited series.
Per the official description, the untitled series “is based on Maggie (played by Arquette) and Alex Murdaugh’s stranger-than-fiction family drama, a riveting account drawing from countless hours of reporting by Mandy Matney – journalist and creator of the popular Murdaugh Murders Podcast – as well as exclusive, insider knowledge from years spent following the case.”

The project hails from co-creator/showrunner Michael D. Fuller (Quarry, Rectify) and co-creator Erin Lee Carr (Britney vs Spears), with Nick Antosca (The Act, Candy) and Alex Hedlund for Eat the Cat serving as executive producers alongside Matney.
Arquette’s previous TV credits include High Desert, Severance, CSI: Cyber, The Act and Medium.

* Peacock has ordered The ‘Burbs, a series adaptation of the 1989 film of the same name that starred Tom Hanks. The new version, starring Keke Palmer (Nope), “follows a young couple returning to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when new neighbors move in next door, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light, and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood,” per the official synopsis.
* Mira Sorvino and Debi Mazar will guest-star on Blue Bloods during its final eight episodes, playing a Queens DA who locks horns with Erin and a newly installed Fire Commissioner, TV Insider reports.
* The Real Full Monty, a two-hour special in which “a daring group of male celebrities” — including Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, Chris Jones, Tyler Posey, Bruno Tonioli and James Van Der Beek — “volunteer to bare all to raise awareness for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer testing and research,” will air Monday, Dec. 9 at 8/7c, on Fox.
* Life After Lockup returns with 10 90-minute episodes on Friday, Oct. 4 at 8/7c on We TV. Episodes will also be available to stream on ALLBLK every Tuesday.
* Paramount+ has released a trailer for We Will Dance Again, a documentary about the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attack on the international Nova Music Festival, premiering Tuesday, Sept. 24:
