As he’s gearing up to release upcoming album The Campaign on Sept. 23, Ty Dolla $ign gives us one last taste before the main course. He gives us a smooth ballad titled “Stealing”, where he explains how much of a lady killer he really is.

The SoCal crooner goes into confessional mode when he opens the song with the harrowing line, “Mama please don’t judge me, even though I’m a criminal.” His vocals are almost reminiscent of the great R&B legend, Charlie Wilson as sings over a beautiful acoustic guitar and the production by himself, Dave Kuncio, and Tysh Hyman. The beauty of this song lies within its smart and catchy songwriting — somethign that Ty$ excels at — and it gives you an idea of how diverse he really is.
