The Ultimate Halloween Parade and Festival is back with changes, new activities
One of Louisville's favorite Halloween events, the Ultimate Halloween Parade and Festival, is back for a 20th year with a few more frights and changes.
In honor of the festival's 20th year, the parade was moved back to the evening and will float around a new route that ends at Lynn Family Stadium, according to a press release from organizers.
"After years of requests, we wanted to make our 20th year special by bringing back the nighttime parade," producer Dr. Michael Book said. "To make it happen, we had to adjust that route and venue to increase the available space to provide a better experience for our guests."
The festival will be held from Oct. 26-29 at Lynn Family Stadium. There will be daily musical performances, food, vendors, tethered balloon rides and ? new this year ? a haunted house, according to its website.
All-inclusive tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for kids, but the parade is free. A four-day weekend pass is also available, the website states.
